Stars seem to shy away,
when the sun brings the day.
Nothing to hide and nothing to fear,
yet in its presence they just disappear.
The reason of course is the brightness,
almost to the point of blindness,
which eclipses every tiny star,
struggling to shine from afar.
And its a long explanation,
for a stupid bit of information,
on why, when you suddenly smile,
my whole world is eclipsed for awhile.
